Central beach

Hungarian version

It has 1 main entrance on an area of 5000 square meters. Accessible from the train station and bus stop in 2 minutes on foot.

The beach has been completely renovated with a new bathroom with baby-mum room, disabled toilets, new changing rooms, solar showers, sunshades, parasols, etc.

Braille for the blind and partially sighted to help them find their way around.

An induction loop is available at the cash desk for the deaf and hard of hearing. Access to the water is provided by several access gates, including a ramp for the disabled, bouncers and sunbathing areas. Water sports equipment, water bike rental, sand playground, sports field, fitness park and changing room facilities, safe deposit box, mobile charging station and wireless Internet (WiFi) complete the range of services. There are 2 snack bars on the beach and a restaurant at the entrance.

Free parking is available. The safety of bathers is supervised by the Balaton Water Rescue Service.

Opening hours:

  • From 19 June to 29 August our beach is a paying beach. Entrance tickets must be purchased at the ticket office (9:00 – 18:00).
  • Before and after opening hours, it is a promenade and open beach.
Tickets Price
Bathers aged 6 to 14 years are entitled to a child ticket. Bathers must prove their age with an identity card or other form of photo identification.

Free admission

  • Children under the age of six are entitled to free admission if accompanied by an adult, otherwise bathers are entitled to free admission to the beach only on presentation of a valid identity card.
  • a permanent resident of Balatonszepezd, provided that he/she has paid all local taxes due for the first half of the year in question and has no outstanding tax debts to the municipality;
  • an employee of the municipality and its institutions on presentation of an employer’s certificate;
  • a member of the staff of the municipality or of the local authority;
  • the operator and employee of a commercial establishment on the beach;
  • a disabled person on production of a public document certifying his disability;
  • for the purpose of carrying out their duties, a person performing public cleaning, public utility, repair, service, official authority duties and a representative of the body authorised to carry out inspections may enter the beach without having to buy a ticket.

Attention! Holiday rentals are valid for all three beaches. It is possible to exchange a season ticket or validate a season ticket issued in the previous bathing season between 10 and 11 on Monday to Friday.
